Economic impact on farmers and hospitality industry leads to event cancellation

Waseca, MN — Farmamerica regrets to announce that its annual Meat-a-palooza event originally scheduled for August 11, 2022 will be postponed for a year. “With the continued high cost of fuel and food into the near future, it feels inappropriate to ask our generous food and drink vendors to travel to Farmamerica to support our fundraiser at this time. Our vendors have generously donated their time and products for our 250 attendees for 5-years,” says Farmamerica’s Executive Director, Jessica Rollins. “This event is more than a fundraiser for Farmamerica because it highlights Minnesota-made products and celebrates the experts behind those products.
