Farm America

Self-Guided & Group Tours

June - September1930s Farm

See and hear how farming has changed over the past 160 years as you stroll through a beautiful prairie on our Time Lane. Experience first-hand how the farmers of Minnesota survived in the 1800s, thrived in the 1900s, and developed the modern farming techniques of today. We also look at new technologies and how agriculture will be changing in the future.

If you have a group of 10 or more, call 507-835-2052 and we'll arrange for a trained interpreter to accompany your group. It is a great outing for scouts or other student groups, group of friends of all ages, a fun activity for family reunions or a great corporate outing. Tram transportation from each farm site is available, if needed.

Admission : $5.00 or free with a paid membership. Children 2 & under are free.

Admission for guided group tours: $7.00 - Children 2 & under are free. Group tours are for groups of 10 or more and by advance arrangement only. Call 507-835-2052.
