"Lost in the Dark" Haunted Corn Maze & Mill
“If you are up for a fright, this is one maze you don’t want to miss"
- WCCO Television
The sound of chainsaws and blood-curdling screams send shivers up your spine as you enter the cornfield. After a few hundred feet, a rabid wolfman howls and bursts out of the cornfield from the left. You drop your flashlight and run, but you can’t find your way out of the maze. Zombies surround you blocking any possible exit. Sound scary? You bet. You are walking through the "Lost in the Dark" Haunted Corn Maze & Mill at Farmamerica, listed as one of the best fall events in Minnesota by the CBS Minnesota website.
The 2014 Haunted Corn Maze and Feed Mill will be at Farmamerica near Waseca four nights only, October 10, 11, 17 & 18, from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Visitors will take a trolley ride from Farmamerica’s parking lot to the haunted areas. Bring a flashlight and dress warmly. Flashlights and maps of the maze are available at the site, as are hot drinks and refreshments. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult; it may be too intense and frightening for children under 10. Our All Hallows' Eve event Saturday, October 25 from Noon to 4 is appropriate and fun for children of all ages.
After finding your way out of the Haunted Corn Maze, go through the Haunted Feed Mill if you are brave enough. Beware of the bats, ghosts, witches and things that go bump in the night. It is truly frightening!
Admission is $10 per person.
Farmamerica and the Haunted Mill are handicap accessible; the Corn Maze has a natural dirt surface that may be challenging for those using a wheelchair.
